Intensive Outpatient Treatment
An intensive outpatient program or IOP, consists of regular group sessions of treatment for people facing the challenges of addiction. IOP is a step-down level of care that offers support through a structured curriculum that addresses substance use disorders. Our clients work closely with counselors who strive to offer a therapeutic environment that enhances the recovery process. IOP clients are provided the tools that are necessary to maintain a clean and sober lifestyle.
Description of Outpatient Program
White Flint’s Outpatient program consists of weekly groups, which allows members to build their support groups. These groups cover a range of topics including triggers, relapse prevention, defense mechanisms and coping skills. Each group member is also required to meet with their counselor one-on-one in order to maintain the personalized treatment plan set in place.
